Exfoliate My Acne Skin With Althea Milk Peel Cream Mask!

My vacation ends right after the skin is getting better from acne. I'm not sure what is the reasons for my breakout because I was stress, period, ate tons of things and trying new products at the same time. Clearly, I'm a bit stubborn here because you need to stop putting new products when you are going through BREAKOUT. But, some part of me also said like let's just get it because I need exfoliation and maybe Althea Milk Peel Cream Mask can help. Shall we see what the products to my acne?

Milk in exfoliation product? Interesting.

If I'm counting right, this is the sixth type of products that Althea came out and so far it's never disappointing. To be honest, I was scared to try exfoliation products either physical or chemical.

I count this as a chemical exfoliation because one, the product contained AHA & BHA. Don't be scared to because this is actually a gentle exfoliation that cleans the skin inside and out.

But, what is precisely Althea Milk Peel Cream Mask?

Long story short, it is a refreshing peel mask to gently strip away dead skin cells reasonably and strangely. Sorry if this is a mistake but it's my first time hear the exfoliator transforms from clay to a whipped cream lather texture.

Besides having AHA & BHA onto the list, you can also take note these points:
💙 Contain Casein Protein (milk) - Provide moisture and help the skin to stay moisturised all day.
💙 Cruelty-free product!

I have the product now but... how to use it?

💙 Apply the product on damp skin.
💙 Massage it gently until it becomes bubbly.
💙 Let it rest on your skin surface for 30-60 second before rinsing it off with warm water.

Althea Milk Peel Cream Mask Curitan Aqalili
Bubbly mask~

Does it work? Would I repurchase it?

Well, I don't know how to do a magic show but I know that everything that we do takes hard work and patient. I am not ready to have acne but I kind of just going through it because I know my skin better (doctor and aesthetician too), and the phase somehow will end eventually.

I'm actually aware that I should only exfoliate 2-3 times per week, and need to stay super moisturising after I used it. Although there are added moisturiser in the product, please and do wear MOISTURISER. Do not skip it.

Honestly, I'm scared to use the Milk Peel Cream Mask direct onto my skin but I found this article that helps me to continue the experiment.

This picture was taken right after I washed my face and yea I don't expect that much on the first try but I could say my skin is smoother and the pore is less visible. Do zoom in to see the differences!

Take note that Althea didn't say anything that it could help to fight acne but I wanted to make it like my first and last tryout and get my skin to rest. It turns out the product isn't irritating and I keep coming back for it as my exfoliator. I really like how it's lather up and becomes bubbly because it makes me feel secure when I'm a person who scared of exfoliation especially the chemical one.

Surprisingly, my parents who saw me every day told me that my skin is glowing even though all the acne just stick onto my face. So, yeah it thought me to be okay with acne and just be confident so people wouldn't use it as the main conversation topic. Diversion, I must say.

So, would I repurchase it? Surprisingly yes, why not! It's a great start to have chemical exfoliation added into my regime and actually, the mask is pretty okay if I'm rinsing with regular water. It's a weird but great product because you get to experience bubbliness, soft-clay texture and smoothness in one go.
